To help make the process easier, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive from our clients. Whether you’re curious about our design process, timelines, or what to expect during construction, our FAQ is here to provide clarity and peace of mind. Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes! Northwest Traditions is licensed, bonded and insured! As part of your listening we also attend continuing education courses to ensure we are constantly learning and growing with the industry!
What’s the best way to schedule an estimate?
Northwest Traditions office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 PM. You can contact us through our website or by phone. Our receptionist will take down all your contact information and details about your project. It is important to have a budget in mind when calling. the receptionist will ask you to email in your ideas and photos of the building site. This information will be compiled together and given to a Project Manager who will review and if we are able to complete the project call to schedule a site visit. If we are unable to complete the project the project manager will still reach out and explain why as well as offer recommendations for contractors in the area who might be a good fit.
How long is my estimate good for?
Our estimates expire after 30 days. The ballpark quote you are give should expire after 90 days.
What is your service area?
We work in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties for the most part. We have been know to travel for larger jobs with multiple phases such as renovation apartment buildings or building in subdivisions.
Who will supply the materials?
Your estimate will include the material costs. Decisions on material types will be made during your planning phase and you will take an active roll picking any finish materials such as doors, trim, cabinets etc.
Do you use subcontractors?
Oregon law requires electrical and plumbing construction tasks to be performed by licensed electricians and plumbers. There might be other times based on project needs we would use a subcontractor to complete your project. These decisions would be made in the planning phase of your project and you will have the opportunity to meet any subcontractors scheduled on your project.
Do you help with the design phase?
We pride ourselves on our expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. With years of experience and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces, we strive to exceed your expectations in every project.
Who will be my point of contact during my project?
You will be working with a specific Northwest Traditions Project Manager who will be the expert on your project. For the most accurate and up to date information we suggest working with your project manager.
